Vincent Van Gogh Miserable fate all his life
(La tristesse durera toujours)
Poor famous painter handed down from generation to generation... Vincent Van Gogh, Miserable fate all his life
Vincent Van Gogh is so famous, but his fate is so miserable. He killed himself at the age of 37.
I only know that Van Gogh is very famous, and that’s it, but I never want to understand why he is so famous. On the one hand, I may not particularly like his paintings. Van Gogh cut off his left ear and committed suicide at the age of 37 with a gun. Suddenly, I aroused great curiosity, wanting to know Van Gogh's life and all the facts.
Van Gogh’s works are now among the most expensive paintings in the world, and many of them have been sold for more than 100 million US dollars.
I saw Van Gogh’s last self-portrait on the Internet Wikipedia, with a pointed chin, deep locked eye brows, melancholy but sharp eyes, and a lifeless color gray on his bloodless and closed lips, revealing the face of malnutrition and unwillingness , Cynical and unconvinced, as if his life has been unsatisfactory, a bit like the "dead end Taoist" described in Taiwanese.
Just like the United States, the most powerful country in the world, there are many homeless people who are underappreciated
Theo said his brother's last words were: "La tristesse durera toujours" (La tristesse durera toujours)
His works are now among the most expensive paintings in the world, with many auctioned for more than 100 million US dollars
With the publication of his collection of letters in 1914, the image of a painter dedicated to art began to take shape. In 1934, Irving Stone wrote the book "Longing for Life" based on Van Gogh's letters, and adapted it into a movie in 1956, making him a household name among Americans.
Since ancient times, many artists had no one to accompany them or appreciate them when they were alive, and they were not discovered until after their death.
